Emotional Intelligence has become
increasingly popular as a measure for identifying effective
leadership. The link between people management and staff
achievement, cooperation and commitment has become apparent.
The pressures of demanding workplaces require high level
personal and social skills to maintain effective relationships
and manage stress.

Understanding the impact of your communication
style is one of the qualities of a self-aware leader.
In this workshop:
- You will identify your own
preferred communication style, using a well-researched
communication- style profile (a 15 minute self-assessment)
- The strengths and challenges
of each communication style are explored with humor
and clarity, and you will begin to recognize styles
of your coworkers and clients
- Typical barriers to cross-style
communication and the most effective approaches for
working with each style are examined
- You will devise strategies
for your personal communication challenges through
exercises and a personal development plan.
- At the end of this workshop
you will come to appreciate that personal communication
style is an aspect of diversity and inclusive leadership.
For effective teams, all four styles are needed.

THE
ART & SCIENCE OF LEADING DIVERSE TEAMS
Increasing Your Effectiveness and Your Teams Productivity
The ability to lead diverse teams is
essential in today’s globally diverse work environment.
Drawing on critical findings from 18 studies on diversity
and performance conducted by the Wharton School, (where
Tudor was an advisor) this workshop demonstrates
how diversity affects performance and what leaders of
diverse teams need to know in order to get the full
benefit from their work teams. Applying best practices
about diversity and performance, participants learn
how to fine tune their self assessment as leaders of
diverse teams and maximize their teams’ collaboration,
creativity and performanceHighlights from the findings
include the relationship between diversity and conflict;
work environment and business strategy; and the process
skills of the leader.
In this session you will:
- Develop a set of practical skills and focus areas
that you can apply to diverse teams, whether you’re
a VP of Diversity or any level of leader in your organization
- Gain a greater understanding of the conditions that
enable diverse or multicultural teams to succeed
- Learn how you can create those conditions for your
team and within your organization
